Handing out monopoly privileges is the entire point of most regulation. It wasn't the price controls that made the old era better (absurd thing to say, everyone knows now how terrible price controls are for upstarts and consumers), it's the fact that there were no government granted monopolies (exclusive rights). But wiki will never frame it like that - they always have to do mental gymnastics to justify why more government intervention is good, even when discussing perhaps one of the most blatant examples of the state and profiteers in an industry colluding to extort and fuck over consumers by killing natural competition in the industry completely. Airline regulation is one of the most fruitful examples of this phenemon. Rothbard wrote some great stuff about it that really enlightens the reader about how government regulation and big business really works - I recommend looking it up. All regulation in all industries always needs to be looked at skeptically, because it's very easy for the state and lobbyists to mask the true intention behind that regulation - 99 times out of 100, the point is to squash competition and solidify a top dog super corporation's status at the top, allowing them to reep outsozed profits indefinitely without having to worry about newcomers coming up with cist cutting innovations, raising the bar on customer service, dramatically lowering the price for the customer... Everything from labor laws to emissions standards to covid "safety protocol" - first and foremost all the shit government does in any industry acts ti give huge advantage to the established legacy corporations (who have massive compliance departments, armies of lobbyists and lawyers) over the upstarts and potential upstarts (who are more focused on the product/service and can't afford to tango with the government and it's regulatory bureaucracies the way the big guys can). But in a free market, the only way to compete effectively is to improve efficiency and improve the product/service to entice more customers to choose you over the competitors. All that investment in competing actually benefits everybody. But when the government acts in this way, there's waaaaaay more return investing in lobbying the government, hiring propagandists to spin your desired cartelizing regulations as being "for the consumer" or "for the worker" or "for the environment", employing tons of compliance officers... But that investment doesn't benefit the consumer or the economy at large at all, it's just coercion, using the force of governmenr to prevent the very things that naturally drive prices down and quality of product and service up (competition over consumers dollars, not competiti9n over favor from the government). In this day and age, every single industry and every sector of the economy is dominated by government regulatory bureaucracies, such that the only thing that matters to a growing business anymore is playing ball with the power holders. Which is why prices are no longer dropping but in fact climbing, we see cartels and monopolies all over the place, the public sector is richer than ever, career opportunities for the young are evaporating, the big corporations get aeay with more than they ever used to (confident that they'll mever be outc9mpeted, that they'll get bailedout when they fail), and cost of living is on the rise everywhere. This is because of decadesof crony central planning and regulatory interventions by the state. The US has more economic central planning agencies and bureacrats than the Soviet Union ever did ffs. And peple still believe this absurd lie that we live in a free market system, that the problem is a lack of "regulation". It's a perspective completely divorced from reality. But when you have wikipedia propping up propaganda, and government schools wildly distorting the economic history of this country, it's no surprise that people still buy into the fantasy that government shold exist to rein in big business exploitation. The government and it's economic and monetary central planning and regulation has been the single most important tool of every crony super corporation. Explaining the disappearing plane is not exactly hard. I have a much better idea than either you or your buddy... I have tons of details on a lot of things on planes but I will go into detail but try not to go into literally everything as this post will be fairly long already. Well, its actually quite easy to make things disappear when over the ocean due its its sheer size and depth.. Insurance fraud is a problem in the oceans and was even more Extensively problematic during 1912 for boats, though there is no evidence for that for this event but this will be related to what I will say about such a case. Using an example of one incident (let alone the countless others involved in the same incident), because yes it is a conspiracy, its no theory. Its a hypothesis by definition because we can not test it. What I will say however the questions are important and many are unanswered. John Jacob Astor IV was one of the wealthiest men alive in the world. He ended up dying during the sinking of the so claimed RMS Titanic. Interestingly he was also one of the largest people going against the federal government and current laws they were trying to pass for the banking system they created. Interestingly of course would be all those who did NOT appose said laws who would benefit from those laws just so happen to not take the boat cruise. Another one of the richest men in the world apposed to those laws trying to be passed was also killed in that cruise. With that said, today even obviously proving insurance fraud is rather hard in the open ocean. If a plan to do something unlawful or harmful did happen to sink the titanic. It would not be impossible that the missing plane is also a victim of such a thing (however just not insurance based as there is 0 evidence of such a thing for this case, but there is some evidence of another possibility). They killed quite a few extras on the titanic, and far less than that plane would even have been able to carry. So they have 0 issues killing innocent people of course. Its certainly a possibility that certain political parties and/or people as example could easily of been on that plane and it was destined to such a fate also as the RMS Titanic. The question is what exactly did happen of course. There are several possibilities of what an experienced group of pilots could have done to incapacitate the people aboard. From hiding masks up front and depressurizing the plane and knocking out all passengers before landing the plane on the ocean at a certain location, especially if a crew was there to pick up those "pilots" (Agents potentially. Depending on if they hijacked the plane after and/or already had been given the ability to freely act and fly as its pilots. etc. ) They could have just let the plane take on water while those passengers were possibly already dead from the depressurizing tactic and the other crew not in on the scheme. Would be more doubtful that they would blow the plane up after an ocean landing. There would be no real need for such a thing with the depth of the ocean. The plane would easily be crushed and destroyed regardless as it goes under. Obviously depending on the depths of where it landed. Another tactic could have been similar but after the depressure they get to the zone above the water and simply parachute out after people have passed from its depressure tactic and let it crash into the ocean and sink. destroying the evidence and hiding it with no one even having an idea of where it could be. Thats simply based on an ocean crash and or landing. There is possibility of an actual landing on land but that would require more people and space. You need a hiding spot to store the plan and obvious roofed building and a team to dismantle it. Its simply easier to crash it into the ocean as unlike titanic we did have an idea of where it was or would be as Carpathian was also trailing it. So things were recorded but obviously there was NO way of recovering it or going that deep at the time. So it wasnt an issue.. Now though, if we had any form of location of its flight path, we could possibly find it. Currently however; it is untraceable. I know this is a lot but... This currently is the most likely option when you wonder such a silly question... Why would no one claim it... There is no reason to. They achieved what they wanted.. When someone has not come clean for such an act, You have to wonder... Who does not want to get in trouble... and for what? Cause that is exactly what it sounds like... Titanic is a special case.. They had to make a plan and such around it and make a narrative.. Here.. No one does... The first things aviation companies do is try and blame the pilot so the fault is not on the aircraft company itself... That is not happening either... So I ask once again... Who doesnt want to get in trouble? Its not the company clearly... So whom is it? I would need a very detail list of the people on that plane, there lives and more in order to verify even if this is such a real possibility. Though it is highly possible.. RMS didnt sink, it was sunk. There is a difference. If you dont think it was. You really do not know enough about the history of the people who were on it, who was suppose to be on it, and the White Star Line. Its financial situation, and its owners history, political affiliations etc. They are far more suspect than people know.

There is no such thing as bidding for airways lol. You can bid for a government "essential route" or whatever where the government pays you to do a route that would otherwise be unprofitable. The Airline Deregulation Act is a 1978 United States federal law that deregulated the airline industry in the United States, removing the federal government control over such areas as fares, routes, and market entry of new airlines. Before only certain airlines could fly certain routes and could only charge so much etc. After it became a free market with way less government 'aid', leading to consolidation of airlines and the rise of low-cost carriers + the need for fully loaded aircraft/efficiency for profitability.

Check his biggest pilot's fear video for explanation of that hilarious Galaxy 7 situation, you have been talkin about :). In fact, any smoke on board, no matter how minor it is, is an automatic pan-pan situation and will usually lead to emergency landing at nearest airport. Cheerio.
