I don’t like that comment about being taken seriously. You shouldn’t be so boring as to expect people to walk into an audition looking basic on a tv show. And it’s rather insulting because he made more in dressing up than a lot of the other contestants in their boring clothes. None of them have make artists to make them look like “serious” singers like the panel do. Just don’t insult someone’s appear at the audition. I just find this whole “taken seriously” nonsense like a backhanded type of bigotry to how someone looks. It’s like that corporate bull before when a tattooed person is considered a bad candidate during an interview because she has skulls or a unicorn on her arm. Honestly, I can’t take the judges “seriously” on this one...
